Suitable for use over the Iridium and Inmarsat dial-up connections and direct IP connections provided by Inmarsat R-BGAN and terrestrial Internet.

TCmailXpress integrates email, fax, telex and GSM text into a single messaging system. TCmailXpress basic version allows the users to enjoy many of the benefits of TcmailXpress for free. You then have the option later to upgrade to a higher version as and when your email needs change. Crew retention is a major issue for the maritime industry. Most fleet owners now appreciate that maintaining crew morale must be a high priority. Being at sea away from family and friends for months at a time is hard. Enabling crews to keep in touch with their friends and family is now a crucial part of employer’s operational structure and staff’s general expectations.

TC chat cards offers a complete solution for the maritime industry by easing some of the difficulties of being at sea and cut off from family and friends for long periods of time.

A TC ChatCard is a prepaid calling card, which enables users to share one handset and have access to communications via their individual pin code. Individual can maintain their own prepaid account or via a company account with a single person issuing cards and credit limits.  With a TC ChatCard you can call home from any available Inmarsat voice satellite terminal.

TC Chat cards allows crew, staff and or guests to have complete freedom for internet connectivity without having to be monitored, controlled or supervised by ship communication staff. This service will provide the end user with secure & private access to e-mail and the internet with the convenience of a re-loadable card.

Other advantages of TC's chatcards are their ease of use, there is a flat rate for all destinations worldwide, there is no unexpected charges as the cards are prepaid and you only need one card for all Inmarsat services

Making a call is very simple, you just need to ensure the terminal is set properly then dial a code and enter your chatcard number, once your finished just hang up. This allows your staff and or your guest to each have their own phone card, they can keep track of their card and usage, the system will tell you your balance.

The TC / Inmarsat Crew Phone is a one-box device that takes social calling away from the bridge – allowing crew to call home with more privacy and giving masters the freedom to run their vessels more efficiently. The Crew Phone can be used via all existing Inmarsat shipboard terminals (except Inmarsat A) using pre-paid calling cards.

Prepay Top-up request

TC’s Chat cards can be easily topped-up by an email request, from any authorised person from your company. Emails request should be sent to TC’s Airtime Department airtime@tc.com.au. A top-up Confirmation will be sent by email to the given email address.
