Alan heads up the Solutions, Design and Engineering division of TC Communications.

Alan started his career working for the DMR maintaining Traffic Control Systems and bridge opening systems.  Transferring to the DMR Radio Workshop, Alan lived out of a suitcase for the next five years as he managed, designed and installed remote controllers for radio systems as well as power and remote management systems.

Alan then ran the repair and installation section of Captain Communications before joining TC Communications.  At TC, Alan has been responsible for the development of communication solutions ranging from mobile phone communications right through to complex Satellite Communications solutions such as the award winning Eye in the Sky live video surveillance system developed for Australia’s Border Protection Command, The VPN developed for the Royal Australian Navy and TC’s Secure Satellite Backhaul..

Alan holds qualifications in Radio Electronics and Electrical as well as being Cisco Certified and a Cert 4 Workplace Trainer and assessor. 

He is, in short, TC’s resident technical guru.

Diana joined TC in 2001 in the newly created role of Marketing Manager and has subsequently built up a team of marketing royalty to help push the TC cause.  She views this role as the opportunity to tell the world of the well-kept secret that was TC Communications. The international profile of the company now suggests that the secret is well and truly out!

Diana’s background is anything but technical with over 10 years in publishing – as the Sales and Marketing Manager of The Macquarie Dictionary and Import /Export Product Manager at Butterworth’s.   This was followed up by three years in catering as a small business owner.

Diana holds tertiary qualifications in Economics, Marketing and Direct Marketing and is a self-confessed Luddite.  Her mantra is “enough with the acronyms, what does it do?”  This has served well in the battle to get the TC brand out to a wider audience who don’t understand link margins and polarization but do need satcoms to help them stay connected in remote locations.

Kathleen joined TC in 2007 in the newly created position of Sales Coordinator.  Due to the growing demand for rental Satcomms, it was decided to include the management of rentals in her role.

Kathleen has spent 19 years in the sales environment with various industries, from IT to printing. She spent 2 years developing and facilitating customer service programmes, primarily for the finance and insurance industries.  This was the beginning of her obsession with customer service and relished the idea of raising the bar in Sydney, one company at a time.

Her successful sales career to date has led to her taste for champagne and the finer things in life.
